At age 14 Jeff was diagnosed with AML Luekemia On Feb. 11, 1996. A very rare type of Cancer in teenagers. There was no hope for a Bone Marrow Transplant for him. Jeff went through 5 chemotherapy treatments. He passed away 7 1/2 months later on Sept. 27th, 1996.

God saw you getting tired when
a cure was not to be,
so he closed his arms around you
and whispered, "Come To Me".
You didn't deserve what you went
through and so, He gave you rest,
God's garden must be beautiful
He only takes the best.
In tears we saw you sinking
we watched you fade away,
our hearts were broken
you fought so hard to stay.
But when we saw you sleeping,
so peacefully~from pain,
we could not wish you back
to suffer the pain again.
